Luca pacelli
Coach Luca Pacelli is originally from Florence, Italy where he grew up playing soccer and as a Fiorentina fan! He has played soccer throughout his life, playing for the University of Arizona while in college. He has played in numerous adult leagues in Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona and southern California. He still plays on the Rancho Santa Fe men’s team when it doesn’t interfere with his coaching duties.
Luca has been coaching for 40+ years. He likes to focus on teaching skills with his young players. He believes that not enough time is spent teaching the basics, so he spends time in each practice developing these skills in his players. His goal has always been to give each player the skills necessary to become a well-balanced player as they grow with the game.
