Arrive for check in up to 15 minutes early.
Attend sessions wearing appropriate soccer attire, shin guards, and soccer cleats.
Share tryout information with a friend!
Attend both tryout sessions for the group.
We encourage all interested players who are currently in the Cardiff Sockers or Rancho Santa Fe Attack programs to attend Age Group Training Sessions in November, prior to Tryouts. (See below for more details)
Players born August 1, 2012 - July 31, 2017 (U10 - U14) will tryout the week of February 23, 2026
Players born August 1, 2007 - July 31, 2012 (U15 - U19) will tryout the week of April 20, 2026
AGE GROUP TRAINING SESSIONS
San Dieguito Academy (SDA): 800 Santa Fe Dr, Encinitas, CA 92024
Due to inclement weather, all sessions on November 15th have been CANCELLED.
Age Group Training sessions will occur for current players in the Cardiff Sockers and RSF Attack programs prior to each round of tryouts for the 2026/27 season. These sessions are also open to players who are not currently rostered on a competitive club team or are recreational players are also welcome to attend. Due to current SoCal governing body guidelines, we regret that we cannot include current competitive players from other clubs for these trainings, but they are welcome to contact coaches and directors for more information about their age groups.
Players who attend these sessions are encouraged to register for tryouts occurring the week of December 1st, 2025.
Coaching assignments will be announced closer to the tryout sessions for each group.
Teams will be formed based on new age grouping implemented by US Soccer beginning with the 2026-27 season.
Registration fees cover professional coaching sessions, league fees, insurance costs, referee fees, facilities and equipment, skills clinics and specialty programs. Tournament fees are handled on a team-by-team basis.
All teams practice 2-3x a week. Additional trainings are offered by age group via our Specialty Training Program and Olympus Movement Performance strength and conditioning sessions. Goalies also train weekly under the direction of three-time MASL Goalkeeper of the Year Chris Toth. Our Specialty Training Program is directed by Mark O’Sullivan, and features a player-centered curriculum that addresses different soccer skills, techniques, and building of soccer IQ throughout the year to maximize individual player growth and development.
