Kyle O’Mahoney
Kyle O’Mahoney is a hardworking, passionate, and enthusiastic coach with extensive experience as both a player and a teacher of the game. His playing career began in the United Kingdom, where he was scouted and signed by Coventry City at just 13 years old. Following his time at Coventry, he earned a scholarship with Burton Albion’s youth academy, playing full-time while beginning his formal coaching education. From that point forward, soccer became his full focus as he continued developing at the academy level before eventually moving to the United States to compete as a Division I athlete.
After graduating college, Kyle discovered a deep passion for coaching—a path that has allowed him to grow and understand the game from a new perspective. He is committed to making every session fun, high-energy, and professional, ensuring that every player gets the most out of their training. His coaching philosophy emphasizes developing players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally. Since moving to San Diego in 2021, he has continued to advance his coaching career and has earned his U.S. B License.
Kyle has also developed a strong passion for working with kids in a soccer environment and is dedicated to sharing his knowledge, experience, and love for the game to help players of all levels thrive.
